Secondly, I want to take this moment to give you, and anyone interested in an honest debate with my specific arguments, observations and points of view, a thoughtful response.

I discovered your post last night before posting my new sketch Stake Baby, Stake. When I read it I was honestly pleased someone commented, I get a lot of views but not much discussion. You start your comment with this statement

“You present what seems to be a good argument but I did find a few flaws in your logic:”

And what follows are what you consider a counter point to my argument. After reading your response and my article(s) numerous times I’ve concluded that most of what you wrote in your 4 pg comment isn’t a counter-response at all. Most of it is a series of misunderstandings – to which I mean you simply didn’t understand the argument I presented. You misquote me and go off into an entirely different subject, taking your comment from the logical very quickly into the illogical.

Here are some moments when you do intelligently address and question my argument.

Okay. I didn’t forget to mention this fact I just didn’t feel it was important to bring up how, like with Dances with Wolves, Last of the Mohicans, Avatar, Tarzan, and The Phantom, the white hero is not only adopted, but also adopts his new culture AND by the end of the film becomes the figurehead for the culture. His being adopted is nothing more than a plot device to fit a Caucasian hero into a non-Caucasian environment. Ultimately, your point feeds into my argument and I thank you for pointing out that detail.

Secondly, the list of all the black fictional characters you could think of in 5 minutes is impressive. How many of them are mainstream? Have TV series? Summer blockbuster movie? Action Figure? Halloween costume? Are they the leader? And how long is the list of white fictional characters you can name? or Latino? Or [fill in the blank]?

Now, I first started out writing a point-by-point breakdown of your comment but upon its completion I thought it was a bit mean spirited and you genuinely seem like someone in need of answers. And, there aren’t many moments where you deal directly with what I wrote. Often you go off into your own personal gripes with racial politics and issues and I find many of your statements questionable and/or offensive. 3 examples;

In the year 2010–why on earth is everyone still mesmerized by what the ‘White folks’ are doing?! Why does anyone even care anymore what the ‘White folks’ think, do or say?

In the year 2010–why is there still a DOUBLE STANDARD? ie. white owned and operated businesses (Including in the entertainment industry) is expected to be diversified and all inclusive–yet ‘Minority’ (And you are right–whites are no longer the majority) industries are perfectly allowed to limit their own employees to the ethnicity of the founder fo the company? It honestly seems that you want all of yours and half of mine too.

Why is it STILL the ‘White’ man’s responsibility to tend to EVERYONE’s needs and wants when in the year 2010 EVERYONE has the same opportunities that the ‘White’ man has?

And this is really off topic–but I really want to know–WHY THE HECK ARE BLACK GUYS SO OBSESSED WITH HOOKING UP WITH WHITE CHICKS?!!!

It’s because these illogical statements and questions that I honestly don’t think I could have a serious, intellectual debate with you. If these statements are, what you consider to be, some of the flaws in my logic I don’t think I have any measured response. Which leads me to my first decree of this blog – I will leave your comment up on my site for the time being, and if you feel the need to respond to this you are welcome.

However, if you, or any future commenter, asks me offensive questions, mis-quotes me, or displays a general lack of comprehension of what I wrote, I will be forced to delete the comment and block you from my site.

I do appreciate your more or less civil tone, minus the 3 examples of offensive, inaccurate statements above, and invite you to re-read my post. I think you will find that I agree with you on the matters of injustice, racial prejudices, and overall inequality that you witness or experience.

1) People who come here from other countries are not the problem–it is the mass migration of ILLEGALS who ARE taking not only my, but YOUR American jobs, TAX FREE and SENDING THE MONEY OUT OF THE COUNTRY [Out of American circulation] that is the problem. This would be a problem even if they came from DerWhitenDorf and they too should be sent home.

2) Obama’s dad was from Kenya ON A STUDENT VISA. Perfectly legal and I haven’t heard anyone who has had a problem with that status. Why should your parents have to do it the right way while others decide to cut corners and simply sneak into the country [Which creates alot more issues for EVERYONE when we have UNDOCUMENTED people sneaking into the country than simply taking jobs IN A JOBLESS MARKET and SENDING THE MONEY OUT OF THE COUNTRY AND OUT OF AMERICAN CIRCULATION]. America is the ONLY nation in the world that errantly thinks that we can support the impoverished of all other nations–every other country has REQUIREMENTS the gist of which is to ensure that the people comming in are there to CONTRIBUTE rather than to USURP.

I have busted WHITE Canadian illegals here working and turned them in too.

Don’t Americans have the right to have our own country too? (And that is not only white folks–but that is ANYONE who is born here or naturalized here in the legal productive way).

Your point about “The way things used to be” –are you talking about discrimination? The last hundred job applications I filled out had a questioneer attatched to it that asked alot of racial questions and [Those that were honest] came right out and said, “We give preference to people of color for job considerations because we get tax benefits for hiring minorities.” The last several bosses that I had were all black. So, maybe on the whole I’m wrong–but from my own experience, whites are now the people being discriminated against, by businesses and the government. Didn’t you (Yourself) use the term “Minority Business Loan?” How does an impoverished white person fit into that category? Don’t they need the money as well? [Yet no-one talks about that because they are 'Just the white folks,' as if there is some imaginary club out there that simply being white makes you a member who is entitled to some imaginary benefits that I personally have never seen or had the privilege to enjoy].

[But this is off topic really because the point of the article is about the entertainment industry being racially biased].

Why are white folks still being called ‘Cracker’ ‘Honkey’ ‘Poor White Trash’ ‘Red Necks’ and an entire category of defamitory terms and rather than get offended–everyone just laughs?

Why are ‘Minority’ comedians still given a free pass on demeaning ‘White folks’ (including Jews by making anti-semitic slurs) and rather than be offended–everyone laughs.

You talk about the Hasidic and the Jewish populations–but you don’t address that EVERYDAY Jews are subjected to historically inaccurate comments such as “When the Jews killed Jesus,” (Ignoring the fact that it wasn’t the Jews but the Romans who killed Jesus, ignoring the fact that Jesus WAS a Jewish, probably Orthodox, rabbi, ignoring the fact that Pilate was one of the most hated and repugnant figures to ever grace the pages of history) as well as all the money jokes and making fun of our customs and diet– that everyone (Black and white included) likes to tell concerning Jews–and since you were gracious enough to leave Rush Limbo out of this, I should probably not mention the ‘Heimi’ comment that kept Jessie Jackson out of the Presidential race, the fact that Al Sharpton actually caused the DEATH of a NY Jewish store keeper’s family (And has never been brought to justice for it) nor about the ‘Duke Lacrosse’ team that Al Sharpton helped to ruin their lives and college careers only to find out that girl was lying–and that Sharpton has YET to apologize for any of it.

Instead, you claim that all the comic heros are white, without researching your claims, because here is a list that I came up with in less than 5 minutes of black comic heros in DC, Marvel as well as other venues:

Ebony, BET, Courier Magazine, JET and a calvecade of other ethnic specific publications have gone VIRAL because someone had the idea to produce them and the MASSES of people bought them.

Black specific theatrical clubs have become a booming business and their seats are constantly sold out in just about every town in America.

Spike Lee, Tyler Perry and a whole crew of other black entertainment groups have cropped up and made black specific movies that even white fans rush to the box office to go see.

These weren’t produced by people sitting around complaining and accusing–these were produced by people who DID SOMETHING to BRING THEIR OWN VISIONS INTO REALITY.

Should white actors drop out of the game because, well, because they are WHITE and if we hire WHITE actors for the role, then we won’t be able to hire other ethnicities to fill that part?

Should white store clerks quit applying for jobs so that other ethnicities can fill those positions? Scientists, engineers, lawyers, doctors, poo-scoopers, you name it–perhaps the entire white population should just drop out so that other groups can have the positions that they are currently wasting space filling? I mean, we didn’t have to be born white now did we?

And this is really off topic–but I really want to know–WHY THE HECK ARE BLACK GUYS SO OBSESSED WITH HOOKING UP WITH WHITE CHICKS?!!!

I mean, I really ain’t all that–my teeth are failing, my weight is gaining, my hair is graying and I’m objective enough to know that I ain’t the little hottie that I used to be. Meanwhile, there are GORGEOUS young black chicks out there who can’t seem to find a good man because they are OBSESSED with finding a less than preferable WHITE CHICK in leu of a hottie black chick. Please explain it to me because I just don’t get it! Better yet–why not do us all a favor and do your next piece on the virtues of the hot little black chicks that would make a GREAT partner–now there’s a thought….

And, why is it STILL the white man’s responsibility to make sure that EVERYONE is represented in his films and his business–but NO ONE ELSE is required to or expected to or even asked to RECIPROCATE and no one has even noticed?

Isn’t this a double standard?
